Helpline for survivors, friends, relatives and professionals
WITNESS's Helpline is for anyone concerned with professional abuse issues. It is there for people who may have been abused by a health or social care worker and for friends, relatives, practitioners and others. The line can be used by people seeking information on the issue as well as by people seeking a safe space to talk through their concerns. We talk through the options for addressing abuse by a professional and help the caller to think about the pros and cons of each. Calling the WITNESS Helpline can act as a springboard for people who may be unsure of what action to take.
Currently we are only able to offer our structured support or advocacy services when funding is provided. To discuss how your organisation may provide funding for this service please contact Lynn Hiltz via the form below.
The Helpline is currently open for two sessions each week, as noted below.
